Vanilla is one of humanity's oldest obsessions.
Long before it became desserts and confectionery, it was a sacred spice cultivated by the Totonac people of Mexico, treasured for its deep, intoxicating aroma. It wasn't simply sweet... it was sensual, mysterious and almost spiritual.
That part of vanilla has been forgotten.
I wanted to bring it back.
So I didn't build a gourmand.
I built a ritual.
The fragrance opens with my own vanilla tincture, dark rum, elemi and black pepper. The tincture has a life that manufactured vanilla can never truly replace. It carries the bean itself... woody, leathery, slightly smoky and incredibly rich.
The rum doesn't smell like alcohol.
It smells like an old oak barrel where vanilla pods and tobacco leaves have rested together for years, absorbing each other's character until they become inseparable.
That image stayed with me throughout the entire creation process:
a bundle of cured tobacco leaves, soaked in dark rum, wrapped around real vanilla beans.
The tobacco here isn't smoked.
It's the smell of dry leaves hanging quietly, earthy, golden and naturally sweet. Tobacco Absolute brings that incredible realism, while forest moss adds the cool darkness of the earth beneath your feet.
Then come the resins.
Olibanum Absolute and saffron tincture create a sacred warmth that threads through the entire composition. Ancient materials with thousands of years of history, once burned in temples and ceremonies, now finding a new voice through perfume.
As the fragrance settles, it reveals its true nature.

Black leather...
Then the castorum accord emerges. this one was a creative risk, making this scent is an ode to nature how beautiful it actually is even the ones you least expect.
the animalic isn't loud.
it is just enough to give the vanilla a breathing pulse.
A rich natural fruity, dirty warmth.
The feeling of skin, worn leather and sticky vanilla syrup. 
Tonka bean smooths the edges, but it never takes away the darkness only add levels to it with a chocolatey nuance.
 
This is not vanilla ice cream.
This is vanilla in its oldest form.
Raw, Primal, and deeply sacred.
 
A fragrance that feels like opening an old wooden chest and discovering rum-soaked tobacco leaves wrapped around freshly cured vanilla pods, their aroma filling the air with something ancient and deeply human.
