An obsession to capturing the smell of Royal Quality in its rawest form, through the use of materials that lived through ancient times, using Classic Arabic Artisanal techniques of distilling and extracting, that still live and breath Royal refinement.

At the crown is Royal Green Hojari Olibanum Sacra… but not as you know it.
I took it from Tincture… to Resinoid… to a Dense, almost living pseudo-absolute.

At first, it was bright, citrusy, terpene rich and almost sparkling.
But as I worked it… it deepened.
It became like velvet… it began to express itself in a creamy sacred woody way with depth.

You don’t just smell it, you feel it
you feel the layers of time inside it.

Opens with flash of bergamot, bright but not sharp… textured, almost like the peel crushed between your fingers.

Then the spices rise through.

Cardamom as two expressions the rich and bright then the dark and sweet, with an aromatic lift I’m obsessed with, it wraps around the opening like silk over heat.

Aniseed brings a soft, licorice-like sweetness, smooth and almost hypnotic adding to the richness.

a zing from the Coriander CO₂ which adds a the green, slightly leathery-spiced edge that keeps everything alive.
Elemi glows resinous, bright, almost electric, bridging the citrus and incense to invigorate.

then it all melts into the heart...

Fenugreek absolute appears and this is where things begin to envelope.
Not sharp, not harsh… but dark, maple-like, slightly smoky with a deeply caramelised sweetness. It doesn’t overpower it coats the composition, giving it a golden richness that feels addictive like smelling dried fruit.

Osmanthus absolute blooms with that apricot-leather softness, fruity, slightly animalic, deeply sensual.
Lavender holds the sweetness with a resinous herbal quality, aromatic, disciplined.
Damask rose adds power to the depth, plumy and full of floral fruity body with quiet authority.
Orange blossom glows underneath, like warm light through golden amber it adds a sparkling aromatic quality that sets the stage where the base reveals its true power.

The Ouds come forward, and they are dark and smooth
Agarwood Trad AAA is earthy, deeply resinous, almost like smoked honey, but

Agarwood India here feels rich, bright but very well balanced, not screeching, but pulling you in subtly.
It blends seamlessly with the resins, becoming a part of the structure.

Omani Golden Frankincense returns again, now animalic, camphor's, deeply creamy and infused into everything adding a ambergris like effect.
Myrrh adds a soft bitterness, grounding the sweetness. a meditative quality to the Labdanum that is sticky, almost heavy in feeling, comforting, amber-like, deeply enveloping into layers of richness.
Benzoin and peru balsam add a vanillic, balsamic sweetness that melts into the skin.

Vanilla absolute and tonka bean add the chocolatey depth, that combo make it so addictive.

Birch tar rises like smoke, dry, leathery, slightly burnt… giving contrast to all that richness.
Tobacco absolute deepens it even more,  niche level of darkness, slightly sweet, slightly bitter… like aged cigar leaves in a box.

Patchouli, Vetiver, Sandalwood, Cedarwood, hold everything down, giving it weight, grounding, permanence, projection and longevity.
Guaiacwood hums the tea like and peppery, adding a final smoky spicy warmth.

This fragrance is about contrast and control.
Sweetness and smoke.
Resin and air.
Power and intimacy.

Every material was pushed to its most expressive form.
Every stage of extraction shaped the final soul of the scent.

Ruh Al Sultan is not just royalty in name.
It is royalty in substance.

Built from resin.
Refined through fire.
Carried with presence. 🖤👑🔥
